Looking at our WOStats page for our application, we notice we're hitting 190 tpm during our peak times. That's not so good. Its time to finally buy that unlimited license.

Negotiating with our Apple rep, since we already have two 100 tpm licenses, the upgrade cost for the unlimited license on a single-CPU machine is $10,000. Our single G3 can now handle 500 tpm without breaking a sweat, so now we're limited by either the two T1's in the case of nile.com or the database in the case of yippee.com. Just for the hell of it, we add more RAM to both G3's for another $2K. Total cost: $12,000
